About Bill Jagde Photography

Bill Jagde's photography highlights the spirit of the land itself, bringing people's awareness to the forces of nature that help shape our world and emphasizing the importance of preserving wilderness.

Bill Jagdefirst fell in love with nature while majoring in biology at the State University of New York at Oneonta.

His photographic reflections of nature today are inspired by the same sense of wonder and awe he felt all those years ago. He now takes his passion for God’s creation, and provides us with a glimpse of beauty we might fail to recognize in our everyday lives.

His aim is to photograph National Parks and the beauty of wilderness in ways that influence and inspire  an appreciation of the magnificence of wild places in our world that we may not see.

Bill has studied with several of the most well known nature photographers in the world and has exhibited his work in galleries in NY, NJ, PA and Arizona for several years.

Bill organizes and leads Eyes of the West Photo Tours to some of the most breathtaking scenic areas in the US and abroad along with some well known photographers such as David Muench.

An acclaimed nature photographer and naturalist, his images have been seen in many publications. Bill has taught many photo workshops for adults & teens. He travels extensively to photograph the natural beauty of the wilderness and national parks of the US as well as around the world.

Bill is a member of the North American Nature Photographers Association (NANPA) and lives in Mesa, Arizona.
